"I’ve been a State Farm customer for 9 years with a renters policy from this office. I’m satisfied with my coverage and rate, and luckily I’ve never had to file a claim. To be clear, my experience with the sales agent Darianne Castejon over the years has been professional and reliable. She handled my policy setup well, and I’ve never had an issue with that part of my experience. My concern is not with her, but with the overall lack of responsiveness from the customer service team here, when I needed basic assistance. I rarely contact this office and typically manage my payments and updates online without issue. Recently, I needed to change my payment plan and was unable to do so through the policyholder portal, which required me to reach out to the agency for support. I called the office three times during business hours and was unable to reach anyone. I went through all available extensions, including payments, existing customers, and new customer inquiries, without an answer. I then contacted the 1-800 number and was transferred back to this office, where again no one picked up. I also attempted to use the online chat and was placed in a queue. After waiting 15 minutes, the session expired and I had to restart the process. Eventually, I connected with an agent named Marzook through chat, who assisted and transferred me to a live representative who was able to take my payment right away. The main issue is that a straightforward payment took 50 minutes to complete. Access to basic customer service should be more efficient, especially for long-term customers. Due to this experience, I’ve requested a change of agent and removal from this office’s book of business. While I remain satisfied with my policy, the lack of timely support made it necessary to move on."

"Biggest crooks in the insurance industry I Cancelled my home insurance policy 8 months into it because the rates skyrocketed and was entitled to a refund for the remaining four months 7 months later still have not received it nor did they send it to my bank. I lost any trust I had on these people."

"Good luck if you ever find yourself in a bad car accident. They did not pay my ER bill on time and will not take my calls or respond to emails as to next steps (I am covered through NYS No Fault). They've left me completely alone to battle a collection agency. "Here to help life go right" -- what a joke!"
